This dish is the number one party food in west Africa. You will find it at every event and occasion. There are variations of it throughout the world. once you make this recipe it will be a must to rotate in you meal plan and to grow the ingredients too.

  1. Heat pot on medium heat
  2. Pour oil in a pot
  3. Drop chopped onions, tomato paste, and stir for 2-3 minutes
  4. Blend fresh tomato, garlic, hot pepper, ginger
  5. Add the blend to the pot and continue to stir.
  6. This will make you stew-based. Now let's season
  7. Add the chicken/veggie bouillon cube, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary. Stir for any 1-2 minutes.
  8. Add the water and stir. Let it come to a boil. Taste for seasoning. You can add more salt or bouillon to your taste.
  9. Once it boiling, add rice and stir. Then cover the pot and reduce heat to medium-low.
  10. Cook until rice is tender.
  11. Serve with any protein and garnish with some herbs like rosemary, parsley, or cilantro.
