Believe it or not, the grocery store is a great place to buy garlic bulbs for planting. Of course, you'll want to check the label to make sure the garlic hasn't been treated with any chemicals that could harm your plants. Also, check the location it was grown. Get the one that is local to you. Your best bet will be organic garlic.

Your local farmers market is another great option for buying garlic bulbs. This is a great place to find organic, heirloom, or specialty garlic that you might not be able to find at the grocery store. Even better, you'll be supporting your local farmers!
